What's on the ballot?

Voters in the Minnetonka School District will be asked two questions about funding for our schools.  Voting YES to both questions will allow the students to continue to thrive while receiving a high-quality education.

What's the cost?

Question 2 has no additional tax impact.  Question 1 would raise taxes on the median valued home by $183 per year, that's 50¢ a day.

Why now?
State funding has not kept pace with inflation during the past decade.  The district is projecting a revenue shortfall as schools reach capacity and enrollment growth plateaus.  More local funding is needed to avoid budget cuts and staff layoffs.
